Does it not seem like the section on the armors is mostly opinion based? Saying that Z armors are the absolute best in the game seems like a matter of opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CenturySC (talkcontribs) 19:10, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mh2ndgpsp.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mh2ndgpsp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Source?

[edit]

"New for this expansion is new monsters such as Hypnock and Yamatsamuki, new items, new weapons, a whole new area called Ocean of Trees, G and X Rank missions, and the option of hiring a Felyne Warrior to help the player on missions. The maximum HR that can be achieved is 11, weapons and armour now go up to rarity 10, weapons now have a new sharpness level "purple". Players who have the previous game Monster Hunter Freedom 2 can transfer their character and all their weapons and armour to the new game."

Where's the source on this information. All we know is that Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is an apparent port of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, which does not have X rank Missions, nor is the max Hunter Rank 11, its 9.Polantaris (talk) 03:56, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In Stores Date

[edit]

I found on amazon that it will becoming be ready for order April 30, 2009. I am not so sure if that is right, but feel free to change "Spring O9" to that. --Sciencegabe11 (talk) 22:40, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Release date

[edit]

I notice the release date was changed to August. The citation was left untouched, which still indicates Spring 2009. Does someone have a source for this better than a Gamestop listing (which is where I assume this came from) for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.122.120.55 (talk) 21:09, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

> Especially since this now says March 31st, yet this is not cited anywhere on the cite that it says it has. There's no indication that it's release date is the 31st, August, or any other date. Until there is a citation for this, I am returning it to a confirmed date, which is Spring 09.Polantaris (talk) 06:28, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like June was just confirmed during GDC; there's a bunch of bloggish posts about it on Google. 67.122.120.55 (talk) 23:46, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Undid another unsourced change of the release date. Whoever keeps pulling these dates out of thin air, please only change it with a source, and remember that retailer release dates are notoriously inaccurate in absence of an official announcement. Considering that there's been at least some sort of official word from GDC, I'd say that June is certain. 24.6.6.99 (talk) 13:35, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm gonna have to change it again. Now someone put June 23rd. What source is this? The source still says June, but no date. 74.105.77.13 (talk) 21:15, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

American Boxart

[edit]

It's available. Someone should change the graphic in the article to match. I'd do it myself, but I can't spare the time at the moment. Arrowned (talk) 21:12, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Multiplayer

[edit]

To play multiplayer, you can either use X-Link Kai using a usb Wi Fi Connector for your computer, or if you do have a Playstation 3 Console, it's as simple as creating a Japanese account for your Playstation Network account. Once you've created an account, simply goto their Playstation Store, and goto the very bottom of the list where it will have "List By Title" (in Japanese of course). Click two times on the very first icon you are brought to, and then within that, you should find a program, with a green picture, and white stick like figures. This will be called "Ad Hoc Party". You can download that for free, and then switch back to your main account to use it. There's tons of guides on youtube, if anyone is that lazy to not figure it out themselves. Too Much Information

[edit]

Hey just letting you know I removed the information describing the different monsters, and just left it as a list. I remember adding similar information like that to another videogame article, and the moderators deleted it saying Wikipedia isn't supposed to have all that information, I can't remember what the exact rule was. But if I'm wrong feel free to correct it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.146.126.129 (talk) 20:59, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New monsters

As there's no reliable source for this section I've removed it to prevent further vandalism/rumours. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 23:31, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gamespot's Negative Review

[edit]

The article says "One of very few negative feedback was from GameSpot who gave the game a 6.5" How is 6.5 negative? It might not be very positive but it is above average.
